A labor of love
I have appreciated and enjoyed the photographs and articles about some of our friends who are garden devotees. As a “yard worker” (for I am no gardener), I have watched with amazement the development of a front lawn at the east end of Second Avenue North, just around the corner from the florist on Main Street.
Colorful flowers, potted plants, varied statuary and inviting lawn furniture all present a presence that, to me, reflects interest, knowledge, care and work to brighten the day for any passerby.
You may already have seen what appears to be a labor of love, but I always look forward to driving by the home.
