United we stand
All the news today is negative. The Lowndes County leaders are against the City of Columbus leaders, and it’s all President Trump’s fault on the national scene. I’m not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but if we spent half the effort to get along, things would a lot better for us citizens. We are just trying to provide for our families and getting along with each other and that takes up most of our time and effort. If you politicians would try working to make life easier for the public, things might just work out for the best. Let’s “Make America Great Again,” let’s “Make Lowndes County and Columbus Great Again.” All we have to do is work together, be proud to be born in the greatest country in the world. I’m proud to be an American and thank God everyday that I live in America today. I served 29 years in the military, from Eisenhower through Clinton. I didn’t agree always, but that never affected my duty to obey orders. President Trump is our President, he is not just my President. I am a resident of Lowndes County and Columbus and an American. Let’s try to work for the common good for a change.
God Bless America!
