There is a common saying, “You get what you pay for.”

It is an unfortunate truth that scam artists and unscrupulous renegade contractors often follow quickly in the path of natural disasters.

Finally, if there is any lingering doubt, homeowners can contact the Board of Contractors at 800-88-6161.
Our sympathies are with all who have suffered loss during Saturday’s storm. It is also our hope that the loss is not compounded by becoming victims of this kind of fraud.
We hope everyone gets what they pay for.
