Responds to Buchanan column
Patrick J. Buchanan: A malicious indictment that Mitch should toss out.
This coup has been in the works for three years. It’s not hard to understand why.
A majority of the people believe Russia and Putin helped Trump win the election and that he is an illegitimate president. Even “crooked” Hillary received three million more votes than Trump.
Pat: “But the forum to be entrusted with the decision “should Trump go?” is not a deeply polarized Senate, but with those the Founding Fathers entrusted with such decisions – the American people.”
The latest poll on impeaching Trump came out January 20, with 51 percent of the people want Trump convicted and removed from office, against 45 percent who don’t. Trump’s overall approval rating is 43 percent against 53 percent who disapprove.
When Clinton was impeached, his approval was 71 percent. It’s beyond me why you would encourage Americans to put their trust in the hands of a pathological liar. Surely you were taught better than that in your upbringing.
The Washington Post says Trump has lied or made misleading claims over 16,241 times since becoming president. I heard this guy on American Family Radio say recently that the Democrats said Trump lies a lot, but I don’t believe it. Yea, he believes it. He knows he cannot defend Trump by telling the truth.
Just read about Putin’s new plan presented to his people to hold power forever. I heard Trump say he wanted to be president forever, too. Seems they both have something in common.
It seems the Republicans are helping him by saying they would be in order to vote to dismiss impeachment charges against him, even as 69 percent of the people want to hear from witnesses during the trial.
During the House procedure, the Republicans complained because most of their witnesses had second-, third- and fourth-hand information.
Now, they have a chance to hear first hand information from Bolton, and they say there will be no way Bolton will testify. It’s a real cover-up. Don’t you think so? Sure it is, pure and simple.
Sure looks like a dictator in the making to me.
With statistics like those above, you can “mothball” those red hats. If you see somebody wearing one, it’s a “hoax!”
All this bodes well for the Democrats in 2020.
Trump is bad for America, really bad!
