Opposite and alike
I was very saddened to read that Lee Roy Lollar's mother has died. She lasted 102 years, but there is only now. My mother died four days ago at 98. We all imagined she would break 100, but she did not. Mr. Lollar and I stand on opposite sides of a seemingly insurmountable wall, but our views of life, the universe, and everything mean nothing in the face of mortality. I wish him well, and hope his grief is bearable.
