The Hitching Lot Farmers” Market Committee announces the 2011 Giant Possum Town Yard Sale to be held Saturday, April 16, from 7 am until noon at the corner of Second Avenue and Second Street North in Columbus.
This will be the fourth community-wide yard sale, which serves as a fundraiser for the Farmers” Market through food sales and vendor fees. The event includes more than 50 local residents or organizations who have cleared out homes, storage buildings, attics and basements to find great items to sell. In addition, breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase.
