Two people, including a Columbus teenager, died in a two-vehicle accident in Lamar County, Alabama Thursday.
Lamar County Coroner Allen Chandler identified the victims as Evan Camp, 16, of Columbus, and Caitlyn Dobbins, 21, of Vernon, Alabama. Chandler said Dobbins was driving and Camp was in the passenger seat when their vehicle collided with another one on Highway 17 between Vernon and Sulligent.
Chandler said Camp and Dobbins died at the scene.
Alabama Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
