STARKVILLE — For the first time in program history, the Mississippi State football team has eclipsed the 50,000 mark in season ticket sales, the MSU Athletic Ticket Office announced Tuesday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 50,311 2015 season tickets have been sold, which includes 10,500 student tickets. Less than 300 season tickets remain for purchase. The previous high for MSU football season tickets was 45,575 last year, and prior to that was 43,894 in 2013.
“The passion of our Bulldog fan base heading into this season has been unprecedented with the amount of season tickets we have sold,” MSU Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin said.
Fans can still purchase the remaining season tickets at HailState.com/tickets, by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS or in person at the Bryan Building MSU Athletic Ticket Office (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Priority reserved season tickets are available for $340, while non-priority season tickets are only $220. Plus, Mississippi State alumni who graduated after May 2014 can purchase first-time season tickets for $180.
In addition, MSU is offering a “Pick 3” mini-plan, which allows fans to choose three of the following games: Northwestern State (Sept. 19), Troy (Oct. 10), Louisiana Tech (Oct. 17), and Kentucky (Oct. 24). Seats for those contests are available in the lower level east side of Davis Wade Stadium in sections 24-25.
