Celia Peal and Lawson Studdard of Columbus Christian Academy were selected to the All-Mississippi Association of Independent Schools Team for single A basketball.
Peal, a senior for the Columbus Christian girls team, averaged 17 points and 6 rebounds per game. She also had three steals per game.
Peal was also chosen as a MAIS All-Star and played in the All-Star Game in Jackson.
She was named offensive MVP in the district and was named to the North State All-Tournament Team.
Studdard, a junior, averaged 14 points and 4 rebounds this season for the boys team. He also had 7 assists and 5 steals per game.
He was also named to the North State All-Tournament Team.
