STARKVILLE -- Mississippi State senior offensive lineman Tommy Champion was arrested Wednesday for speeding and driving with a suspended license.

The MSU Police Department confirmed the arrest to The Dispatch Thursday morning.

This is Champion's second arrest in the past six months. He was previously charged for driving with a suspended license, not having insurance and an expired tag on March 20

An MSU Athletics spokesperson told The Dispatch, "We're aware of the matter and are continuing to collect more information."
