The Mississippi State volleyball team lost Friday night’s Southeastern Conference opener to Kentucky in four sets in Lexington, Kentucky.
The host Wildcats (8-4, 1-0 SEC) beat the Bulldogs (11-2, 0-1) 25-17, 25-11, 21-25, 25-23 to take the match.
Deja Robinson led MSU in kills with 11, while Callie Minshew and Gabby Waden each had nine.
The Bulldogs host LSU (7-4, 1-0 SEC) at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Newell-Grissom Building.
