Cooper McCleskey scored 16 points and Jarvis Leigh had 14 as the Caledonia boys basketball team beat Hamilton 70-27 on Friday in the Confederates’ home opener.
The Caledonia girls hung on for a 46-44 victory over the Lions. T’nyzia Lathan scored 16 points, and Shanti Kidd had 12.
The Confederates’ next game is Nov. 30 at the Starkville Thanksgiving Tournament.
