Caledonia High School is in the market for a new boys and girls head basketball coach following the retirement of former coach Gary Griffin.
Griffin, who took over both programs at Caledonia in May 2017, retired in March, he told The Dispatch. He also taught driver’s education at Caledonia.
He had been the head boys basketball coach at Columbus High School from August 2016 to May 2017 before being replaced by Anthony Carlyle. Before that, Griffin was an assistant with the Falcons for 16 years.
Caledonia put a listing on the Mississippi High School Activities Association’s online job board on Tuesday, seeking a basketball coach who can teach social studies or driver’s education. Interested applicants can contact Gregory Elliott at [email protected] or (662) 356-2003.
