The Victory Christian Academy football team fell to 2-3 on the season with a 40-6 home loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Alabama) on Thursday in Columbus.
The Eagles scored their lone touchdown, a 41-yard scoring pass from Tyshon Rogers to Kaden Barksdale, in the fourth quarter.
Jeremiah Smith had a catch for 19 yards from Rogers, who finished 6 of 12 passing for 106 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Rogers added 10 rushes for 53 yards.
Anthony Frierson had 12 tackles, including one for loss, as well as a sack and a fumble recovery.
Austin McCarter had nine tackles, and Matthew Moore had five tackles and a sack.
