MSU (5-17, 1-8 Southeastern Conference) lost to Arkansas (9-10, 3-6) 3-1 earlier in the season.
“I think there was a lot of good for us to build off in Sunday’s match in Oxford, and we have some things to fine tune and polish up,” MSU coach Julie Darty said of the 3-1 loss. “If we continue to play hard and have fun while doing it, then we are going to be proud of the result.”
n DeCrane named to SEC Soccer Community Service Team: At Birmingham, Alabama, MSU redshirt senior goalkeeper Rhylee DeCrane was named Tuesday to the 14th-annual SEC Women’s Soccer Community Service Team.
Ole Miss’ Marisa Kutchma and Alabama’s Emma Welch also were named to the team.

The aspiring veterinarian volunteers at the West Point Humane Society and Palmer Home for Children and works with Habitat for Humanity and at the Bulldogs’ soccer camps. She is an active member of the MSU M-Club and serves on the executive board. She is also a SAAC representative for the soccer program for the third-consecutive year.
This year, she worked with MSU’s Dance Marathon and was part of the Bulldogs’ National Girls and Women in Sport Day youth event.
